We know what subtitles are, and we love to watch videos with subtitles (most of us, some people find this irritating). If you are watching the “Bleach” anime series, you will see an example of a hard subbed video.

A hard subtitle is a subtitle that is combined with the video itself. To remove the subtitle, you need to do video editing. Since it is with the video, It is also included in the animation. Therefore, It seems impossible for an ordinary user to separate a hard subtitle from a video. The subtitle stream is one with the video frames and text will not be editable.

What if you want to add a subtitle for your favorite series? Let’s take Heroes as an example.

Soft subtitles comes in handy. A soft subtitle is a separate subtitle file that can be incorporated with any video. A subtitle file has these extensions: sub,…

Today, Firefox will set a world record of the most downloaded software within 24 hours. I’ve been waiting for this yesterday. Anyway, the Final Release has a whole lot of new features.

2. Improved Performance
3. Full Zoom
4. Instant Website ID
5. Smart Location Bar

The complete list is located here. One feature that I’ve been waiting for since 2.0, is the full-zoom feature. IE7 already has this feature. What is the full-zoom feature? If you are not familiar how to zoom a webpage, you could do this by holding down ctrl key on your keyboard while scrolling up your mouse. I’ve been using this software for almost 3 days now. Xneat adds some features to your taskbar and your windows. Menus will be added to your windows to change its opacity, send it to the system tray, add some effects, let is stay on top. The taskbar buttons that contains the windows titles could be arranged or so to speak change its order. You could drag each taskbar button and move it around. You could also change the taskbar appearance by hiding and showing different components like the system clock.

How can a dark webpages save engergy? According to energy saving organizations a webpage that has one color displayed on your monitor could save colors. I stumbled into a website that actually promotes energy saving by proposing a Black Google. This website is called Blackle and is powered by a custom Google Search form. This is a screenshot of the webpage.

Why transform the clean white Google into a black one. According to Blackle:

a black version of the Google search engine would save a fair bit of energy due to the popularity of the search engine. Since then there has been skepticism about the significance of the energy savings that can be achieved and the cost in terms of readability of black web pages.

According to InternetWorldStats, there are 1,407,724,920
people using the internet. And referring to Google’s statistics on Alexa, Google reaches about 30% people and average page views per person approx 6.

Wikia, if you are not aware offers a free wiki for people i suppose. A wiki is an online information storage or more of a library to share with others. However, Wikia search introduces us a new way of searching. Wikia offers us a “user powered” search I could say. Here is a sneak peek of the site:

What does Wikia offer that Google and Yahoo doesn’t? The two latter companies use bots or spiders to crawl the internet and gather data from webpages. This method allows websites to be included to their search engines and be known to the World Wide Web. How about doing this with human intervention?

Wikia lets you add your own website to their directory on the fly. You could add comments and even rate other sites. You could also start a vote for deletion of a specific site. There are a lot of things you could add:…

I will be introducing an application called a memory scanner that is used to cheat games on the fly. A memory scanner searches for a memory value and manipulates its contents while the game is running. This is an old application made by Corsica productions. You could obtain the application by clicking this link available at Tim’s Vault website.

Now let’s start this tutorial by opening a game pre-installed into the Windows system. I guess you’ve been playing pinball for a while. Here’s what it looks like. You could access the program by navigating from your start menu to the games folder.

Step 1: Start the game and play by pressing F2. Let the ball fall and remember the score: 63000.

Step 2: Launch Tsearch and click Open Process then choose PINBALL.EXE.

Step 3: Press the magnifier below the Open Process button and type the score as a value for your search then press…

I really love this video. It’s been days since I saw this video and is now sitting on my bookmarks toolbar. This a superhero filled video, Marvel’s Iron Man, Spiderman, and The Hulk all in one video. This video could be a full length movie. It’s creators are absolutely professional animators to produce such CGI models perfectly. I want to learn 3D modeling!
