This is not an accusation but rather an eye-opener to this said professor. Taking someones work and claiming that it is yours is against the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines.
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo recently signed Republic Act No. 9239 known as the “Optical Media Act of 2003.” This law was enacted in accord with the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines to ensure the protection and promotion of intellectual property rights. This act seeks to regulate optical media by imposing stern regulations in the licensing, copying and distribution of optical media such as DVD’s, CD’s, VCD’s, DVD-ROMS, CD ROMS, CD recordables and rewritables. - Ailyn L. Hence, nothing is exempted, either you copy something from an individual or a company. I guess, I don’t need to mention the name of the professor since I respect a professor and a coder like Him. Anyway, he is our professor in WEBPROG (Web Programming). This is a screenshot of our professor’s Learning PHP presentation with his name omitted.

It is a good idea to use someone’s presentation and use it on class. Why make your own when you could settle for a pre-made presentation? But, why bother change the authors name and claim it as your own. Are you a coder that wants something to be taken away from you in a matter of seconds? Deleting the author’s name and replacing it with your 12 character name? This is something you won’t do and use on a university to teach your students!
The presentation was taken from Lynda.com. It is a company that provides educational materials in video presentations. They hire professionals to do these tutorials. If you are this professor, you are not only stealing from the company but also from the coder. It is entitled PHP Essential Training (2005) by Brian Maxx the original author of the presentation and the whole CD.
The CD costs around 90 dollars and is protected by copyright agreements (That is according to amazon.com). I am not writing this to accuse the person in obtaining his copy illegally but reproducing content without proper credits.

Brian Maxx, the author of the CD is described by Lynda.com:

In this case, I would prefer the sharers than the rippers!
